Admin Settings for Bonus Product

This section guides you, how to setup Admin (Backend) settings. For which goals and which settings requires.

Step by Step Guide to learn Backend Settings

When you install the Bonus Product for WooCommerce plugin for the first time on your WordPress website, you get the default settings with the plugin. Please go to the Bonus Product tab page under the WooCommerce settings section in the backend.

There are three subsections under that settings panel and one specific option with the edit product page.

1. General

This section gives you default control of plugin settings. Plus, that will apply globally with the WooCommerce store after plugin activation and require settings. General options and bonus label options are the best part of the subsection tab.

2. Filters

When an administrator, store owner, or shop manager wants to give a bonus discount only with the distinct criteria. This subsection is very useful to them. For example, to give Bonus Product permission to only Accessories, Clothing, and Music product categories. Then pick those categories under Category Filter and Bonus Product availability. It will start showing those products on the frontend.

3. Permissions

Provide permission for bonus product settings to the selected user via user role. You need to choose the user role for what you want to give access to them. After that, they can manage plugin settings whenever they want. We suggest providing access to the maximum to Shop Manager role to avoid any security firm.

4. Individual Bonus Product option with Edit Product

If you think of giving a distinct product as a Bonus Product with the selected product, this is the best choice. Yes, you should need to keep proper product settings to apply that option as several bonus products for the cart page drop-down.
